The CARS game, just like the movie, revolves around Lightning McQueen, a new stock car racer. Well, car. In the world of CARS, vehicles have faces, personalities, and no need for human drivers. Lightning is cocky about his success, which leads to a little accident as he?s headed to the next race. He ends up sentenced to community service in the tiny town of Radiator Springs, where he meets a host of interesting friends and learns many different lessons. The DS version of CARS revolves around 12 different mini-games, each of which showcases a particular character from the movie. Players will fish for garbage with Mater, catch trophies with Mack, and more. Not all mini-games are available at the beginning; players will have to complete the available challenges before new ones are unlocked. Fans of the CARS movie will love this game adaptation. The characters look just like their movie counterparts, and the challenges fit in perfectly with the theme of the movie. The game prominently makes use of the touch screen and the DS microphone, making CARS a fun game with unique controls and tons of humor.
