NinDS - Trace Memory
Fans of graphic adventure games will be delighted with the involved story line and puzzles that await them in Cing Inc.?s TRACE MEMORY for the Nintendo DS. As players work their way through the mysterious Blood Edward Island they will be playing as Ashley Robbins, a fourteen-year-old girl in search of her father and his secretive invention. Ashley had believed him to be dead for over a decade but has recently been contacted by someone claiming to be her father and requesting her to meet him at the island. The game is done in a three-dimensional style and from a bird?s eye view, allowing players to move Ashley around the island from the perfect vantage point. Players can also use the touch stylus to maneuver Ashley on the bottom screen as a two dimensional map displays her whereabouts on the island on the top screen. Many of the special features available on the Nintendo DS were taken into account in the development of the game, and a lot of the puzzles require players to use these features to solve them. This includes such things as blowing on the microphone and using the stylus. These features help to draw in players and make for a very engaging game. Overall, the game is a visually stunning and well-written game that draws players of all ages into its engrossing story. Since TRACE MEMORY is available on a portable format, it allows players to take this adventure with them wherever they go.
